Lilly Boughey is a Shropshire singer/songwriter and performer from the small town of Market Drayton. She is the middle child of three and grew up on a diet of Daryl Hall and John Oates, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye and Van Morrison. At the age of thirteen she took up playing the Soprano Saxophone and then the Alto. At fourteen she taught herself to play the Ukulele and then moved on to the Guitar.

A writer of poetry, Lilly found inspiration from everyday and real life experiences. She realised she could pen her own lyrics to go with songs she had composed.

With a unique and haunting voice, very much her own style, she started to perform gigs at the age of fifteen and is currently gigging weekly at many varied venues and events.

Lilly records all her own material but has a real passion in performing live, especially when it's the festival season.
